New York born 50 Cent is on the verge of releasing his highly anticipated second solo debut album 'The St. Valentines Day Massacre'. However news arises that the album might just be called 'The Massacre'.
The new album is set to feature the forth coming single 'Candy Shop' featuring Olivia. The track is set to explode like 'In The Club' did. The video has just been shot and it will hit the UK music channels this week.
'Piggy Back' the controversial track that targets Fat Joe and Jadakiss over their feature on Ja Rule's 'New York' has only fuelled the feud between Interscope artists and The Inc. So much so that Jimmy Iovine, C.E.O of Interscope, has banned Jadakiss form retaliating as he (Iovine) fears that Kiss would damage 50's career. Although most would speculate that this is true, I'm sure Queens born 50, would have something to say about this. Jadakiss could very well release a response track but this could then jeopardise his deal with Interscope. Fans might say that 50 Cent is not justified in his actions while others would say it's just business. We will just have to wait and see how it all plays out, although a new breed of beef would be interesting.
50's new project is nearing completion and is now scheduled for a March 14th release and continues Aftermath's bombardment on hiphop in 2005.
Dr Dre is set to release the extremely anticipated 'Detox' album - that was originally set for a 2003 release - in the summer.
